4) James Logan/Wolverine
With the X-Men coming down the MCU pipeline, there are dozens of roles that need big-time actors to fill them. Marvel Studios is widely expected to recast almost every role after nearly 20 years of X-Men films from Fox Studios, and there are a couple of Marvel’s mutants for which John Krasinski would be a great fit.
The first of these is James Logan. Perhaps the most famous Marvel mutant is facing an MCU reboot following the legendary run of performances by Hugh Jackman. Jackman has recently stated that he’s hanging up the Wolverine claws for good, and Krasinski would be an excellent choice to replace him. I simply don’t think we’re going to get the short and stocky Wolverine from the comics, and with Krasinski having a similar build to Jackman, he would work really well as the menacing and mutton-chopped former Civil and World War veteran.
