Streaming giant Netflix recently debuted the trailer for their upcoming documentary series Surviving Death, and it’s a doozy.
Set to premiere January 6th, 2021, the trailer shows us clips and interviews of people pondering what happens after we die and a select few who have supposedly died and come back to life. It’s based on the book of the same name by New York Times Best-Selling author Leslie Kean and will be 6 episodes.
Ricki Stearn will direct the 6-episode series as it attempts to answer one of humanity’s most pressing questions: What Really Happens After We Die? Take a look at the new trailer for Surviving Death below.
Surviving Death Trailer
While it’s far from the first series to dabble in the question of life after death (see the multitude of paranormal investigation shows from the early 2000s), Surviving Death could offer intriguing pre-meeting Skype discussions around its central question. Or it could simply be a dramatized farce that’s at least entertaining. I’m interested to see how the show plays out and hope it ends up on the positive end, but we won’t know until it releases.
