Ant-Man And The Wasp Quantumania: Michelle Pfeiffer Unveils Explosive Secrets from Janet’s 30 Years in the Quantum Realm

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania

Ant-Man And The Wasp’s very own Janet van Dyne is the one who knows more of what’s going on down there than any of the characters in Ant-man and The Wasp’s circle of trust. Scott Lang did spend about five hours there but compared to Janet’s 30-year stay, there’s a way bigger story to tell. Luckily for you, during last week’s press conference, Michelle Pfeiffer unveiled some interesting secrets that Janet has been hiding from Hank (Michael Douglas) and Hope (Evangeline Lilly).

A Hopeful Return

According to Pfieffer, Janet returning home with her family was something that she’s been waiting for a very long time. 30 years to be exact.

“After finally being rescued from the Quantum Realm after 30 years and reunited with her lovely husband Hank and daughter Hope, you know, she is just savoring this together and quite, decidedly so, secretive about her time down there.”

The secrets that van Dyne was keeping from her family weren’t revealed due to spoilers but Pfeiffer did open with the fact that these secrets were those that she really hoped wouldn’t be something to be shared for a long time.

When it comes to entering the Quantum Realm, the realization that these secrets need to be told to those closest to her, Janet is faced with being more open about what really went down during her years in this alternate universe.

“We all find ourselves down in the parallel universe and parallel world. And she is forced to come forth with the truth and in a place where she had hoped she would never see again. And, you know, 30 years is a long time. People have needs. And let’s not be judgmental. And so, I think there are a lot of surprises for the family.”

Even with secrets being held among the characters, Pfeiffer does note even though some choices may be questionable and are more than others, the family dynamic between the characters is strong. Secrets among family members are nothing new to the ordinary man, even with a superhero family that seems bigger than life. Pfeiffer continues in saying that Janet’s story and her secrets are important when it comes to the theme in the film.

“But, you know, it also, you know, of course her story is very much a part of the whole family secrets theme that runs through the film.”

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters on February 17. Directed by Peyton Reed, written by Jeff Loveness and Produced by Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard, the film stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Jonathan Majors Michelle Pfieffer, Kathryn Newton, Willian Jackson Harper, Michael Douglas and more!
