Death Note is the renowned Japanese manga series, mostly famous for its hit anime adaptation. The manga was written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata, from December 2003 to May 2006. The anime premiered in 2006 and only consists of 37 episodes, with various live-action adaptations. This includes Netflix’s 2017 movie, which didn’t perform as well as Japanese adaptations of the story.Â

The title captures the series’ mystical premise, where a notebook has the power to bring death to anyone whose name is written in it, as a thrilling 10-player social deduction game. DEATH NOTE Killer Within is available now on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5 and PC via STEAM® in Standard and Special Editions.Â

DEATH NOTE Killer Within is an online social deduction game where players must answer the ultimate question: who do you trust? In the game, players are split into two teams, joining the killer Kira or the investigator L’s team. They must then uncover each other’s identities to eliminate L or seize the Death Note from Kira. Kira and L are equally matched, each hiding their true identity while battling for control over the game. Engage in a game of wits as both sides vie for the hidden Death Note, leading to a thrilling showdown of truth and deception until one team prevails.Â
In DEATH NOTE Killer Within, players can assume one of four roles – Kira, Kira Follower, L, or Investigator – each offering unique gameplay characteristics. With each assigned role, players can develop a wide range of strategies, as randomised scenarios evolve into high-stakes game play. The game features cross-play for up to 10 players across platforms and offers robust customisation options. As players progress, they unlock custom nameplates, in-game avatars with various accessories, and different special effects displayed during key gameplay moments.

Its brilliant how there is a left and right style of gameplay that either lets you use the Death Note or find Kira.
