20th Century Studios returns to the iconic, global, epic sci-fi franchise, The Planet of the Apes, in the next installment, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Earlier this week, Walt Disney Studios and 20th Century Studios launched the trailer during Super Bowl Sunday for the upcoming all-new action-adventure spectacle sequel.
Fargo star William H. Macy has been cast in the upcoming The Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, the sequel to Matt Reeves’ War for the Planet of the Apes.
The Planet Of The Apes reboot now has a star and an official title: Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.
Rejoice, Planet of the Apes fans. In a recent interview, director Wes Ball confirmed that his Disney iteration of the franchise will exist in the same universe.
While another Planet of the Apes film is forthcoming, this time under Disney since the acquisition of Fox, Director Wes Ball has denied that it’s a reboot.
