During WWE‘s Pre-Show for their TLC PPV, The Revival called out Harlem Heat. Later during that night, both teams continued to go back and forth on social media. There hasn’t been much made of the incident, however, until now.
The Top Guys continued to tease a match with the Hall of Famers, and they’ve stated that they want it to be at the 2020 Royal Rumble. Scott Dawson continued the social media feud, stating that they might have set the table, but they’re now sitting at the head of it. It’s yet to be known if this is a start of a program or if The Revival and Harlem Heat are just having fun.
Will The Revival Vs. Harlem Heat Happen?
This wouldn’t be the first time that a current WWE Superstar teased a match for the Royal Rumble. A couple years ago AJ Styles tweeted out a picture of him face-to-face with the Heart-Break Kid Shawn Michaels. Obviously, that match never took place. Unlike HBK vs. The Phenomenal One, we do think this match is more likely to happen.
The Revival were rumored to be leaving the WWE when their contracts expired to go to AEW. The Elite have even had some fun with The Top Guys while on The Elite YouTube Channel. This could be the WWE’s way of showing good faith in one of the WWE’s top tag teams since they have not signed new deals as of now.
We’ll just have to wait and see how this one plays out. Would you want to see Harlem Heat vs. The Revival at the Royal Rumble? Leave a message in the comments below.
