Ash By Elegance who is better known by her WWE name, Dana Brooke, recently debuted in TNA. She revealed some of her goals while in TNA and why getting released by WWE was a blessing in disguise.
Ash By Elegance has not been in TNA for very long having debuted last month at Hard To Kill. However, she already has big goals for her time in TNA. She was recently a guest on Distortion Media and was asked if she would be open to competing in the tag team division and who she would want to tag with.

“The ultimate goal is the [Knockouts] Championship and defeating Jordynne [Grace], if that’s who I need to face. Going into the tag team division, I’m all open for it, it’s just I need to see who the perfect fit would be for my tag team partner. I need someone as hungry as I am. I’ve said it before I’ve really got to know Xia [Brookside]. I knew her when she was such a little girl, and her father was actually one of my coaches. Seeing her drive and determination and not wanting to ever stop and she’s just been so hungry, and now that we’re sharing a locker room together a decade later is truly amazing.
“I’d love to stand in her corner and watch her do her thing. With that being said, I definitely feel as though I have to keep my eye out and see who would definitely fit this part as my tag team partner. We can go out there and capture those tag team titles and then I can also hold the Knockouts title as well too. A two-for-one [deal].”
Make Way For Ash By Elegance
Ash has not shown TNA what she is capable of just yet. She only has one match in TNA so far having defeated Savannah Thorne a few weeks back.
Ash is not new to wrestling fans having been a part of WWE for 10 years as Dana Brooke. Her time in WWE was a bit of a “double-edged sword” kind of deal. She was involved in big storylines with some of the best women in WWE. However, she was the sidekick to those big names and didn’t make too much of an impact on her own with some exceptions. Some of those big names she worked with were her losing to Asuka in Asuka’s NXT singles debut, her and Emma attacking Becky Lynch and teaming up with Charlotte Flair.

One Of The Greatest 24/7 Champions Of All Time
Undoubtedly the peak of Ash’s time in WWE was her involvement with the 24/7 Championship. She held the championship 15 times and is tied for second-most title reigns and second-most days as champion.
In September 2023 Ash was released from her WWE contract. She revealed that her release was a good thing because she had gotten very comfortable there and with her opponents. In TNA she feels like she can grow and show the fans what she is capable of.
“I’m just excited to step foot in the ring with anybody because I feel like they can bring out a different side of me that I was not able to show before. I got, again the perfect word is comfortable, because I was so used to the same girls over and over again not given enough time to be able to go out there and show what we can do. We were handcuffed in a way.”
Ash had good matches in WWE and looked good in the ring, but failed to connect with the fans and was missing a key element to take her to the next level. Hopefully, she will be able to show the world a new side of herself in TNA. She is a big name there because of her time in WWE and that may give her new and unique opportunities.
