THE STORIES AND INTERVIEW CONTINUES
In the year 2022, the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (Anderson) recounts his life story to journalist Daniel Molloy (Bogosian). The story picks up in season two after the bloody events that occurred in New Orleans in 1940 when Louis and teen fledgling Claudia (Hayles) conspired to kill the Vampire Lestat de Lioncourt (Reid). Louis tells of his adventures in Europe, a quest to discover Old World Vampires and the Theatre Des Vampires in Paris with Claudia.
Louis first meets the Vampire Armand in Paris where their courtship and love affair will prove to have devastating consequences both in the past and in the future. Molloy probes to get to the truths that are buried within memories.
The first season of the series received positive reviews from critics. Much of the praise went towards the writing, tone, costumes, soundtrack, production values, the performances of the cast and the chemistry between the two lead actors. Rotten Tomatoes reported a 98% approval rating with an average of 8.1/10, based on 80 critic reviews.
Several critics felt that the season should have been nominated at the Emmy Awards, pointing out that the series was snubbed. Interview with the Vampire was named the best-reviewed horror series of 2022 as well as one of the best-reviewed TV series and new series of the year. The series is also based on a gothic horror and vampire novel by Anne Rice.

Season two of Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire will be executive produced by award-winning producer Mark Johnson, creator and showrunner Rolin Jones, Mark Taylor, along with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice.
