The popular anime series starring the loveable Slime Demon Lord, Rimuru, will be back. This includes the first episode to drop on Saturday, with 2 cours for fans to look forward to. A new trailer highlights the upcoming confrontation as Rimuru faces Hinata once more. This will also bring the Holy Empire of Lubelius as the main opponent that will test the nation of monsters.
That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime featured the 1st movie for the anime series at the start of 2023. Season 3 was revealed to be released in Spring 2024, but fans had a long wait until they could finally see the next installment. The latest OVA introduced other characters before the events of the first encounter with Hinata.

Crunchyroll Brings Season 3 of Slime Tomorrow
That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime Season 3 will premiere the first episode tomorrow, on March 30th. The trailer gives a preview of the fantastic new chapter that brings the Jura Tempest Federation into confrontation with the Western Holy Church. Along with a match between Monsters and Humans, the new chapter will also bring a big rematch between Rimuru and Hinata. Fans are also granted a teaser at new conspiracies and schemes that will add even greater complexity to the story.
Rimuru has officially become a Demon Lord after defeating Clayman. Following Walpurgis, the Demon Lords’ banquet, Rimuru’s domain is expanded to include the entire Great Forest of Jura. Anticipating a flood of representatives from all races showing up to pay their respects, Rimuru decides to throw a festival to commemorate the opening of Tempest, using it as an opportunity to gain new citizens and present Demon Lord Rimuru to the world.
Meanwhile, in the Holy Empire of Lubelius, home base of the monster-hating cult of Luminism, Holy Knight Captain Hinata receives a message from Rimuru. But the message is actually a fabricated declaration of war sent by some unknown party. Upon learning that Hinata is heading for Tempest, Rimuru makes a decision… Thus begins a new challenge for Rimuru, striving to distinguish friend from foe in pursuit of the ideal nation where humans and monsters can prosper together.
