Well, we’re finally here. WrestleMania XL begins tonight! If you’ve been following along for the last few days, then you should be all caught up with the events of tonight’s edition of the Showcase of the Immortals as well as the first half of tomorrow night’s events. This means we only have three more bouts to talk about, and they are some of the most important. So, let’s get this show on the road!

United States Champion Logan Paul vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens

Let me just say that this one will be one of the most entertaining matches of the night. Despite my own personal disrespect for our current United States Champion Logan Paul, I can’t fault his impressive abilities in the ring. His heel persona has fed into his in-ring style and he is an expert at getting the fans to loathe his stupid face. Thankfully, we have two amazing competitors to bring the Internet Superstar down a peg or five.

First, we got the brawler and ass kicker Kevin Owens. Coming off last year’s WrestleMania with one of the greatest main event wins in the company’s history, Owens has found himself mid-carding against Logan Paul of all people. Well, at least he has another opportunity to make Paul see stars with his Stunner.

But Owens can’t be too careful as the Legend Killer Randy Orton lurks in the corners waiting for just the right moment to deliver his patented RKO. Despite Randy and Kevin’s shaky relationship going into WrestleMania, I think it’s fair to say that the Viper’s main target is the champion.

Triple Threat rules are not doing Logan any favors, as he loses his champion’s advantage two-fold: first, it’s a no-disqualification match. And second, Paul doesn’t have to be the one pinned to find himself without the gold around his waist. If you hate Logan Paul, this match is the one to watch.

The Pride vs. The Final Testament

Now onto WrestleMania’s likely only true bathroom match as, in full honesty, this match isn’t as intriguing as the rest of the card. The Pride, the team of Bobby Lashley, Montez Ford, and Angelo Dawkins, find themselves up against a truly insurmountable force with Karrion Kross and the Final Testament, featuring the Authors of Pain (Akam and Razar) and managed by Kross’ wife Scarlett and AOP’s WWE Hall of Fame manager Paul Ellering.

You’d think that just those names alone would be enough to give the match the hype it deserves, though the storytelling up til this point hasn’t felt nearly as fleshed out as other matches on the card. That said, expect to see brutality and high flying moments as The Pride and the Final Testament lock horns in the last breath you’ll get before the final main event.

The American Nightmare vs. The Tribal Chief

It has finally come to this. Two years of storytelling have led to the biggest main event WrestleMania has had since John Cena took on The Rock over a decade ago. We talked two days ago about the biggest Tag-Team match in WrestleMania history, but here’s a little refresher.

On Night One, The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin'” Rollins will face off against the Final Boss The Rock, and the Tribal Chief, the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a match to decide the stipulation of Night Two’s main event: If Cody and Seth win, the Bloodline is barred from ringside during the championship match on Night Two; however, if The Rock and Roman win, then the championship match becomes a No-DQ “Bloodline Rules” match, meaning anything goes and Cody could very well be on his own.

The stakes leading into the main event of Night Two are extremely high and the levels of excitement are even higher. Will Cody finally be able to finish his story and begin the next chapter of his legacy as the face of the WWE? Or will Roman Reigns triumph once more, adding even more days to his already nearly 1500 Day Reign over the company?
