The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You is set to return for its second season early next year. Get ready The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You fandom as Season 2 has now been confirmed to broadcast in Jan 2025! Less than a year away till our beloved characters grace our screens once more. The teaser visual and the cast for the new four heroines in the upcoming season have also been revealed!

After the success of season 1 it was announced that Bibury Animation Studios would be producing a second season for the romantic-comedy series. The announcement was made after the finale of season 1 on December 24, 2023.
THE 100 GIRLFRIENDS WHO REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY LOVE YOU SEASON 2 DEBUTS IN JANUARY
The second season will be introducing new “soul mates” into the mix by adding four new characters for our protagonist Rentaro Aijo. New additional cast that has been announced are as follow:
- Shindo Amane as Haraga Kurumi (Voiced Mashiro Kurata in BanG Dream! Morfonication)
- Takahashi Rie as Sudo Iku (Voiced Tomo Aizawa in Tomo-Chan is a Girl!)
- Lynn as Misugi Mimimi (Voiced Ayano Yugiri in Engage Kiss)
- Takao Kanon as Hanagure Aime (Voiced Iris in Blessing to This Wonderful World 3)
Haraga Kurumi; a middle school student in her third year who is known for her signature look of her hoodie and headphones. Sudo Iku; a tomboy who is proud to be a member of the female baseball team, whose character is stoic, Sudo is also a massive sadist! How will Rentaro handle this one. Misugi Mimimi; In her second year of middle school, a true school beauty with admirers. Hanagure Aime; a very shy girl with social anxiety, who can’t handle when people look at her face.
With these four new colourful characters coming into the new series, we can expect a lot of new storyline and character plot. Now Rentaro has four new soul mates to add to his 100, how will he find things now with the number of soul mates increasing. The new key visual released shows Rentaro with his soul mates, holding hands and forming a heart, let’s hope the love continues to grow for everyone.
The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You, is being directed by Hikaru Sato who is also known for directing such anime series as; Boruto: Naruto Next Generation, Food Wars, The World is Still Beautiful and more. Takashi Aoshima handled the series composition; Takashi has composed anime’s you may have seen before like; Love Tyrant, Rewrite, Absolute Duo and many more.
The popular anime made by Bibury Animation Studios, comes from the original manga story written by Rikito Nakamura and illustrated by Yukiko Nozawa. The manga story was first published in Weekly Young Jump manga magazine on Dec 26, 2019. The story was then collected in tankobon volumes, releasing the first volume on Apr 17, 2020. On Feb 22, 2022, Seven Seas Entertainment released an English copy of the manga across North America on digital platforms as well as physical copies.
