This fall, Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios will unveil a spine-chilling new attraction: “Insidious: The Further.” Inspired by the hit supernatural horror Insidious film franchise, this haunted house promises to immerse guests in a harrowing journey through a paranormal dimension filled with tortured souls and demonic entities.
Entering The Further
Fans of the Insidious series will recognize the eerie elements that have made the franchise so popular. Produced by Blumhouse Productions in association with Sony Pictures, Insidious follows the disturbing tale of the Lambert family, who are tormented by evil supernatural forces after their son falls into a comatose state, possessed by a demonic entity. At this year’s Horror Nights, guests will step into the Lamberts’ world, navigating the terrifying realm known as “The Further.”

Visitors will begin their journey by stepping through the iconic red door, immediately encountering the tormented spirits and demons from the films. The haunted house is meticulously designed to transport guests directly into this ethereal, dark dimension where they must confront sinister creatures like The Red-Faced Demon, KeyFace, the Bride in Black, and the Man Who Can’t Breathe.
An Immersive Haunted Experience
As guests venture deeper into “The Further,” they will move from one red door to another, each leading to more spine-chilling encounters. The journey through this timeless astral world is fraught with danger, and guests must constantly evade these malevolent beings to avoid having their souls trapped forever. The attention to detail in replicating the film’s haunting atmosphere ensures a genuinely terrifying experience.
