THQ Nordic announced today that Disney’s Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, a remake of the classic adventure game, will be playable next month at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan event. Attendees of the upcoming Disney convention will be among the first people to get the chance to play Rebrushed from August 9-11.
Attendees will be able to visit booth 3200 in Halls C and D at the Anaheim Convention Center at D23 in Anaheim, California, where they will be among the first people to play the upcoming video game remake. Attendees who play the game demo will also receive an exclusive set of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed pins, which will be available only that weekend and will be extremely limited. The pins are subject to availability on a first-come first-served basis.

DISNEY AND THQ NORDIC ARE BRINGING EPIC MICKEY: REBRUSHED TO D23
The good news is that Warren Spector, who served as the Creative Director for the Epic Mickey series, returned to assist Purple Lamp in creating the Rebrushed remake, which is good news. The remake is going to be available on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Box One, and Nintendo Switch.
Additionally, THQ Nordic will be releasing a Collector’s Edition for Rebrushed, which will be priced at $199.99. Players who pre-order the game digitally will receive a costume pack with three skins and 24-hour early access. Here’s what’s included with the Collector’s Edition version:
- A stunning 28 cm Mickey Mouse Statue, perfect for display
- An Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Keychain, a nod to Disney’s classic character
- A Vintage Mickey Mouse Tin Sign, adding a touch of nostalgia

THQ Nordic also revealed that a demo for the game will be playable at Gamescom in Germany. Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed will be hitting shelves on September 24, along with its Collector’s Edition. D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will run from August 9-11 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
