Bandai Namco has released the title, with teasers and upcoming content shared on social media. This includes the original character featured in the unique story arc for the game, plus the Season Pass featuring highlighted characters.
The game will finally immerse fans in Jura’s forest as a new way to explore and experience Rimuru’s story. That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime: Isekai Chronicles features as the first video game for the franchise, featuring the story featured in the manga and anime adaptation.

The RPG title was developed by ZOC Co., Ltd. and MONKEYCRAFT Co. Ltd., with the game coming to all modern gaming platforms and PC via Steam. The game will include a mix of gameplay including retro 8-bit epic combat and allow players to build their own village until it becomes a city of monsters.

Fans can finally experience Rimuru’s story as the iconic Slime is given his first video game on a range of platforms. That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime: Isekai Chronicles was released on August 8 and DLC content has already been revealed to be coming up, with iconic characters from the series. More information about the original content was slowly revealed on social media leading up to the release. This includes the new arc creator by author FUSE, which is exclusive to the title.
New Adventures As New Arcs Feature
In addition to experiencing the wonderful Isekai story, fans will also have 2 new arcs to enjoy as exclusives from the author. This includes the Goblin Revenge Arc which will introduce fans to Kataki and the Religious Nation Arc which will have players face the Theocracy of Angels. These new additions to Rimuru’s journey will be a fantastic new slice of content for both new and current fans of the Slime Anime or even the manga series.
It is fantastic that fans have this amazing content to look forward to plus will even play off unexplored events that fans know from the anime series. Much like the first movie, fans will see a new light hit backgrounds for significant moments in the story. It will be incredible to enjoy this new content while diving into the full system that sees epic visual combat mixed with building up the village to the Jura Tempest Federation.
Season Pass Reveals Upcoming Content
Bandai Namco has already revealed some amazing upcoming content coming soon as DLC will be released this year. This includes adding Hinata, Veldora Tempest, and Demon Lord Milim as playable characters with their own new scenario or mode, plus more extras.
This also includes new side quests and new buildings for your town. In addition, a Season Pass was also revealed that will grant fans a bonus side quest called Remember Shizu. This is a fantastic addition to the amazing game fans will soon dive into, with so much content to enjoy straight after launch.
It is amazing to see this DLC already revealed, with more likely to follow as time passes. With the second cour of Season 3 currently airing, it will be amazing to see what comes next after the Martial Arts Tournament DLC. For now, fans have a lot to build up to and it will be brilliant to play these characters and see what comes as part of each piece of content.
