Universal Studios Hollywood has officially opened its gates to Halloween Horror Nights, kicking off Southern California’s most terrifying event of the year. Running on select nights from Thursday, September 5, to Sunday, November 3, 2024, Halloween Horror Nights promises 40 spine-chilling nights of pure horror with all-new haunted houses, scare zones, live entertainment, and more.
This Year’s Fearsome Lineup
This year’s Halloween Horror Nights presents a lineup that’s bigger and scarier than ever, featuring eight all-new haunted houses, a revamped Terror Tram experience, frightening scare zones, and adrenaline-pumping live shows. Here’s a quick look at what you can expect:
- The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy – Immerse yourself in a chilling experience curated by multi-award-winning artist The Weeknd.
- A Quiet Place – Based on the critically acclaimed Paramount Pictures franchise, this haunted house will incorporate American Sign Language (ASL) for the first time in Halloween Horror Nights history.
- Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire – Inspired by Sony Pictures’ latest Ghostbusters installment, prepare to face paranormal terror.
- Insidious: The Further – Venture into the dark world of Blumhouse Productions’ hit horror series.
- Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines – An all-female monster-led haunted house, featuring music by GRAMMY-winning musician Slash.
- Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface – Paying tribute to the 50th anniversary of this iconic horror franchise.
- Monstruos 2: The Nightmares of Latin America – A terrifying sequel to last year’s hit haunted house.
- Dead Exposure: Death Valley – Step into an original concept house filled with radioactive zombies.
Plus, guests can take a ride on the Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse, a close encounter with characters from Blumhouse Productions’ most popular franchises, including M3GAN, The Black Phone, and The Purge.

- Luchadores Monstruosos
- Skull Lordz
- Chainsaw Punkz
- Murder of Crowz – Beware of terrifying stilt-walkers dressed as menacing crows.
Live shows include The Purge: Dangerous Waters, a fiery and action-packed stunt show that will leave visitors on the edge of their seats.

- Frequent Fear Pass for up to 33 nights of admission
- Ultimate Fear Pass with unlimited access to all event nights

For the ultimate horror experience, guests can opt for the R.I.P. Tour, which includes an expert guided tour, exclusive experiences, and a gourmet dinner.
