Love Hurts

Love is a battlefield—and a literal warzone—in the explosive new action thriller Love Hurts. Ahead of its February 7, 2025, release, Universal Pictures has dropped a thrilling featurette titled “Love is Ke” and an eye-catching poster featuring Ke Huy Quan in his first major leading role since his Oscar®-winning turn in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Directed by legendary stunt coordinator-turned-director JoJo Eusebio (Black Panther, Deadpool 2), Love Hurts promises a high-octane mix of heart and havoc, perfectly timed for Valentine’s Day.

A Realtor with a Past

Ke Huy Quan stars as Marvin Gable, a seemingly mild-mannered realtor in suburban Milwaukee. But Marvin’s quiet life is upended when he receives a blood-red envelope from Rose (Ariana DeBose), a former partner-in-crime he thought he had left for dead. Now, Rose is back, and she’s not happy.
