Marvel Rivals

Marvel Games and NetEase Games are ready to set the battlefield ablaze with the arrival of Season 1.5: Eternal Night Falls in Marvel Rivals. Starting February 21, players will welcome two of Marvel’s most iconic heroes—The Thing and Human Torch—into the action-packed Super Hero team-based PvP shooter. Alongside these fiery additions, a brand-new map set in Central Park and key updates to the competitive scene will expand the multiverse experience.

The Fantastic Four Arrive in Force

After months of teasing, two beloved members of Marvel’s First Family are officially joining the ever-growing Marvel Rivals roster. Season 1.5 brings players the opportunity to suit up as Ben Grimm, better known as The Thing, and Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch.

Human Torch: The Duelist That Brings the Heat

Johnny Storm is ready to turn up the temperature. Always the show-off, Human Torch lives up to his reputation with blazing aerial mobility and searing damage. Perfect for players who love fast-paced, high-risk gameplay, Human Torch can scorch enemies from above and light up Dracula’s forces in the Eternal Night conflict.

The Thing: The Vanguard with a Heart of Gold

It’s clobberin’ time! Ben Grimm’s rocky exterior hides his protective instincts and resilience. As a tank-class Vanguard, The Thing excels at defending allies and smashing through the opposition. He’s not just brute force—Grimm’s piloting background also plays into his quest for Chronovium and safeguarding his city from the Eternal Night’s dangers.

New Map: Empire of Eternal Night – Central Park

Marvel Rivals

Season 1.5 isn’t just adding new heroes; it’s expanding the battlefield. The brand-new map, Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park, is set to debut, offering players a haunting twist on one of New York’s most iconic landmarks. Under the Eternal Night’s eerie glow, players will navigate a destructible version of Central Park, creating chaotic and dynamic firefights in the shadow of looming supernatural threats.

New Redemption System, Patch Updates, Competitive Level Up

Marvel Rivals

Season 1.5 also introduces a redemption system that allows players to convert excess Chrono Tokens into Units, providing more flexibility for their hard-earned resources. As always, the update will be accompanied by detailed patch notes and hero balance adjustments, ensuring that Marvel Rivals remains fresh and fair.

The Marvel Rivals team is pushing the competitive landscape further with updates to tournament systems. Following the successful Marvel Rivals Championship (MRC), which hit maximum Faction registrations in North America, developers are expanding tournament capacity to meet player demand.
