Ballerina

The dance of death has never looked this graceful. Lionsgate has unveiled a sleek new poster for Ballerina, the John Wick spinoff starring Academy Award nominee Ana de Armas, and it’s every bit as deadly and stylish as fans hoped. The film pirouettes into theaters on June 6, 2025.

Welcome to the Wick-Verse’s Deadliest New Assassin

Directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld) and written by Shay Hatten (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Army of the Dead), Ballerina introduces a new chapter in the John Wick universe with Ana de Armas leading the charge as Eve Macarro, a fierce trainee of the Ruska Roma assassin syndicate.

Set during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, the film follows Eve as she trains in the lethal traditions of her adoptive family and begins her brutal path of vengeance.

The Legacy of the Ruska Roma

Ballerina

Ballerina boasts a jaw-dropping ensemble that bridges the old and new guard of the franchise. Ana de Armas is joined by John Wick veterans Keanu Reeves, Ian McShane, Anjelica Huston, and the late Lance Reddick, in one of his final film performances. The cast also includes Gabriel Byrne, Norman Reedus, and Catalina Sandino Moreno, all of whom add gravitas—and potential body counts—to the assassin-filled world.

Fans of the John Wick series will recognize the Ruska Roma from past films—an underground ballet of trained killers raised in harsh discipline and deadly grace. Ballerina promises to explore the depths of this shadowy faction, offering new lore while honoring the legacy of the films that came before.

A Dance of Vengeance Begins

Ballerina

Produced by John Wick architects Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Chad Stahelski, Ballerina is poised to become a blood-soaked ballet of bullets, blades, and ballet slippers. With fight choreography as precise as a pirouette and a heroine with vengeance in her heart, this summer action flick might just be the franchise’s most graceful killer installment yet.

The newly released poster (below) features Ana de Armas’ Eve in a blood-red hue, centered in a frame that mixes elegance with menace. Poised, composed, and unmistakably dangerous, it’s a haunting first look at the woman who’s about to carve her name into Wick-lore.
