Crunchyroll Announce 2024 Fall Season of Anime With Sequel Frenzy

Crunchyroll reveals the upcoming anime for the Fall 2024 season. Check out all the upcoming new and returning series starting from the end of September.

Crunchyroll has revealed their new season of anime as the Fall 2024 Line-up hosts incredible returns. The anime platform has revealed its upcoming simulcast that will make their debut starting from next week. This includes long-awaited installments and even some fantastic new titles for anime fans to dive into. Check out the line-up of content so far, with many more still to be revealed at a later date. 

Crunchyroll has kept fans hyped for the latest releases and acquisitions featured on the anime platform. Some of the incredible releases for the season have included A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring, Wistoria: Wand and Sword, and Failure Frame. A great new installment for previous anime was also featured, including That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime featuring 2 consecutive courses.  

Crunchyroll Features Unmissable Anime For Fall 2024 Simulcasts

Great new anime feature for the new season of release coming to the anime platform. This includes fans finally getting a 2nd season of Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles, along with Gun Gale Online and As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World. The Fall line-up will also feature a fantastic range of new titles that will fill the weekly schedule of fans. Here are the upcoming simulcast premieres that include English subtitles, with dubs to be announced soon for specific titles. 

SEPTEMBER 28 

Demon Lord, Retry! R (Gekko) 

Akira Oono finds himself in the world of Infinity Game as the last boss and his favorite character, the Demon Lord Hakuto Kunai. After meeting Aku, Luna, and other friends along the way, the Demon Lord begins a new journey to find a spell that can take him back to the real world. The story of the Demon Lord continues in this next chapter!

DAN DA DAN (Science SARU) 

When high schooler Momo, from a family of spirit mediums, first meets her classmate Okarun, an occult geek, they argue—Momo believes in ghosts but denies aliens, and Okarun believes in aliens but denies ghosts. When it turns out both phenomena are real, Momo awakens a hidden power and Okarun gains the power of a curse. Together, they must challenge the paranormal forces threatening their world.

Old schoolmates Haru and Gaku will do anything to achieve success. And success to them means earning a trillion dollars! But to do so, they’ll need to take full advantage of their own unique skills. Now finding themselves entering a new battle royale death match tournament that was announced out of the blue. LPFM is eyed as the top favorite candidate team to win, but the team will have to endure several rigorous ordeals to get there: a playing field that sinks into the ocean with the passage of time, an [UNKNOWN]  area hidden in the middle of the map, and an anonymous team conspiracy. In addition to all of this, all players will have to follow some shocking special rules if they want to play the game and win…

Blue Exorcist -Beyond the Snow Saga- (Studio VOLN) 

Rin and his friends successfully defeated the Impure King after his revival in Kyoto and have returned to their daily lives at True Cross Academy. Meanwhile, Rin and the other Exwires work to solve the mysterious phenomenon plaguing the school. But as the True Cross Academy Festival is in full swing, Lucifer, the King of Light and Commander-in-Chief of the Illuminati, suddenly appears. Lucifer declares war on the Knights of the True Cross – to resurrect the demon god Satan and rejoin the realm of humans, Assiah, and the realm of demons, Gehenna, as one. There are so many fantastic releases already slated for the new season of anime and even more are expected to feature. The return of Blue Exorcist will be an exciting debut for fans of the series, but it’s incredible that Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles will now return 3 years after its first season premiere. Arifureta will also bring a fantastic 3rd installment for fans to enjoy and even a new release for Rurouni Kenshin. There are so many great series also getting a 2nd season premiere in the Fall line-up, so anime fans will have a lot to indulge in as the season progresses. 

Crunchyroll Fall 2024 anime schedule includes the latest simulcast premieres, with new episodes released weekly. The latest releases will be available to subscribers of the platform upon release, with the dub content schedule to be revealed soon.
