Lucasfilm turned the Force all the way up during Day 2 of Star Wars Celebration 2025 in Tokyo with a trio of electrifying announcements: exclusive footage and details for Andor Season 2, an early preview of Ahsoka Season 2, and the surprise reveal of a new LEGO Star Wars sequel series set to debut later this year.
Andor Season 2: First Episode Debuts for 9,000 Fans
In one of the convention’s most buzzworthy panels, showrunner Tony Gilroy and star Diego Luna took the stage with the Andor cast to unveil the long-awaited final season. After a recap of Season 1, fans were surprised with a full screening of the first episode of Season 2, followed by a sneak peek at future episodes. Each attendee also received a limited edition Andor celebration poster.
The new season picks up with Cassian Andor edging closer to his destiny within the Rebel Alliance. The 12-episode season is structured in four chapters of three episodes each, unfolding with political intrigue, betrayal, and revolution. The first three-episode arc premieres April 22 exclusively on Disney+, with new chapters released weekly.
Ahsoka Season 2 Reveals New Cast Member, Concept Art

Executive producers Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau joined Rosario Dawson and Hayden Christensen for a look back at Ahsoka Season 1 and a glimpse ahead at Season 2. The panel confirmed that Game of Thrones star Rory McCann will take over the role of Baylan Skoll, following the passing of original actor Ray Stevenson.
Fans were treated to never-before-seen photography and concept art teasing the galaxy-spanning adventures still to come. Production officially begins next week, and the series will return in 2026 on Disney+.
