2K wanted to release a different kind of wrestling game this year, and they did exactly that in WWE 2K Battlegrounds – which features arcade style action.
In a recent WWE investor call, it was revealed that WWE 2K21, which would have been the 2020 release for the WWE 2K franchise, will not be moving forward.
