It was revealed on WWE Backstage that John Morrison will be returning to his old stomping grounds. The last time Morrison was in a WWE ring was 2011, and since then he’s been tearing it up at Impact Wrestling, Lucha Underground, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and other independent promotions.
During his time with the indies, Morrison has encountered many current WWE stars. So, if the Guru of Greatness were to start feuding with some of the top talent around, they would already have the storylines built in while still providing a fresh matchup for viewers.
