The Batman, DC’s upcoming film helmed by Matt Reeves, isn’t slated to start filming for 3 more weeks. But Colin Farrell is already praising the script.

Earlier yesterday, Farrell visited The Ellen Show and confirmed that he is playing The Penguin in the upcoming movie:

He then went and visited Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to talk about his upcoming movie The Gentleman, but he made sure to bring up Matt Reeves’ script for the movie as well.

Colin Farrell had this to say about the script:

I’m in the process of talking to Matt Reeves, who’s the director, who wrote the script, and wrote a really beautiful, dark, moving script, really gorgeous. It’s all very hush hush, but it’s a really beautiful script that he wrote and he has a real love for it, Matt. So, we’re in the process of finishing designing the aesthetic of the character.

Colin Farrell Says Hold Your Penguins

Images have surfaced recently showing Farrell with Grey hair and wearing a suit, and fans were saying that he was shooting for the film. He did confirm that the grey hair was for a different project, and that The Batman isn’t shooting for another 3 weeks,

We still don’t know a whole ton about this film, but hopefully, we will find out more soon. And stay tuned to The Illumnerdi for the latest Batman and DC movie news.
