Cardi B and Lacey Evans got into it on social media, so strap in for the whole story.

WWE Raw hosted Legends Night early this week. Cardi B – yes, that Cardi B – was live tweeting about the show. The kicker is that she started off curious about why her followers were tagging her on WWE-related posts, but it later just became her answering questions about her thoughts about current wrestlers, on on her love for current Smackdown Women’s champion Sasha Banks, and wrestlers she used to watch such as Eddie Guerrero, Batista, Trish Stratus and Booker T just to name a few.

She would later joke with rapper and WWE superfan Wale about her debut date with the company. It was all fun and games until it ended with a Twitter scuffle between her and Lacey Evans.

After making fun of how her “debut” went, Lacey Evans quote retweeted Cardi and brought up the incident between her and Nicki Minaj at the New York Fashion party from 2018, saying, “You’ll get sent home with more than a busted eye.” Cardi B fired back – well, we can’t repeat exactly what she said, but take a look at their back and forth below.

Obviously this divided people on twitter, some defending Cardi B and others degrading her, claiming her reply to Lacey Evans is somehow racist. Meanwhile, those defending Cardi claim Lacey took her joke on debuting seriously. Either way, it was pretty funny to see Cardi react to being named dropped on Raw and to see the love she gave to many of the wrestlers from the Ruthless Aggression era.

What are your thoughts on the twitter fight between Cardi B and Lacey Evans? Was it necessary for Lacey to comment? Did Cardi overreact? Did anyone else know that she was a wrestling fan before the tweets? Let us know in the  comments below.
