Find out what parts Zainab and Kevin personally bring to Aleesha and Luke in our Upload Season 2 Interview.
Prime Video’s brilliant dramedy, Upload, is finally set to premiere its second season this Friday, March 11, 2022. The first season of the series aired back in May 2020, with the season finale ending on a major cliffhanger. Now, nearly two years later, fans will finally get to see what happened and learn the fates of the cross-existence love triangle. To get everyone even more excited for the series, we got to interview Zainab Johnson and Kevin Bigley who play Aleesha Morrison and Luke Crossley.
Upload Season 2 Interview – Zainab Johnson & Kevin Bigley
In our interview, we find out what features Zainab and Kevin would like in their uploads, and the answers are pretty surprising. Zainab’s answer is so well thought out and explained that even though it initially seems out there, it makes sense, but would probably only work for her. Plus we also learn about what aspects of their characters come from them and if their characters have rubbed off on them at all.

We didn’t have time to go into much about Season 2 unfortunately, but we do get a lot of insight on the actors and their love of their characters and the world they get to be in. If you want to know what kind of trouble and drama Aleesha and Luke get into, be sure to binge the series this Friday. Maybe even 4-6 hours earlier Thursday night if you live in the PST. If you can’t wait, you can always read my non-spoiler review.
Upload Season 2 will premiere all 7 episodes of Season 2 this Friday, March 11, 2022, exclusively on Prime Video.

Upload is a sci-fi comedy series from Emmy Award-winning writer Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation), set in a technologically advanced future where hologram phones, 3D food printers and automated grocery stores are the norm. Most uniquely, humans can choose to be “uploaded” into a virtual afterlife.
In Upload Season Two, Nathan is at a crossroads in his (after) life… his ex-girlfriend Ingrid has unexpectedly arrived to Lakeview hoping to strengthen their relationship, but his heart still secretly yearns for his customer service angel Nora. Meanwhile Nora is off the grid and involved with the anti-tech rebel group “The Ludds.” Season Two is packed with new near-future concepts, including Lakeview’s newest in-app digital baby program called, “prototykes,” and other satirical glimpses of the technological advances and headaches to come.
