Come all Jedi and co, Disney+ has released the trailer and key art for season 2 of Star Wars: The Bad Batch. Needless to say, fans are buzzing with excitement.
And not just for any reason, from the looks of Star Wars: The Bad Batch‘s trailer, the series will more than deliver. As they say in the trailer – reiterating an age old line – “Peace was never an option.”
The Bad Batch Season 2 Drops Action-Packed Trailer
The new season begins months after the events on Kamino, as the Bad Batch continues to find their place in the Empire after the fall of the Republic. As the Empire continues to grow stronger, they get faced with resistance from “rogue clones” and others, who are fighting for freedom and to topple it. We then hear Cody complain to Crosshair that more and more clones have been questioning the order. In reply, Crosshair labels them as “traitors, like the Jedi,” but it’s clear from Cody’s reaction that he did not share in the sentiment.

After a series of exciting and heart-throbbing scenes, the soldiers of the empire declare that they’re not the enemy and that their main mission is to establish peace across the known worlds. But of course, there are those who believe that peace is not an option.
This new season will certainly see the Bad Batch crossing paths with old friends and foes, as well as making more friends and foes along the way, as they take on a variety of thrilling mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.
What Fans Love About Star Wars: The Bad Batch Trailer
You can agree that there’s a lot to admire about Star Wars: the Bad Batch trailer: from the score, to the animation, plot, returning characters, and more.
Commending the animation team, a YouTube user, Steve Matousek, commented: “If you pause it at certain times it looks like a painting. The animators are completely crushing it I don’t even know how they keep getting better.”
Another fan, Wackaz, decided to pay their respects to the soundtrack, writing: “The one thing I can always commend these Bad Batch trailers for is that the music is always absolutely fantastic! Super bombastic; they create such an epic, climactic and grandiose feel.” Wow, what words to describe a soundtrack.
The rest of us, who are lesser nerds, were completely taken in by the action and the plot.
The trailer tells us that the clones are beginning to develop their own rationality, though most fans would rather there’s no mass rebellion from them against the Empire.
Fans were also eager for the new season to start streaming so that they can understand Commander Cody’s doubtfulness when Crosshair called rebellious clones “traitors”.
