The official webpage for Ohsama Sentai KingOhger has been discovered with rumors regarding the Zord names and Megazord configuration. This information includes how the ten insects Zords for the 47th Sentai will form the Robo of the series, which will include the five belonging to the core team. The website of the new Sentai Ranger team was discovered to be linked to the TV Asahi official website, which has yet to reveal the new Rangers for the first time.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger is the latest Super Sentai series that has only been revealed officially as a silhouette for the new Ranger team. Confirmations from a Toy leaker have confirmed rumors that the team will be an insect motif team of warriors with many items coming for the first wave. This includes various weapons as part of the roleplay lines, with a Sword-based Morpher, and will also include a Sheild that can form personal weapons for each Ranger. The Megazord of the show was confirmed to be formed of 10 insect Zords for the main Robo and additional Zords that can form weapons for the Mecha to use.
The Rangers of the team have been confirmed by the toy leaker to be comprised of a Red Stag beetle Ranger, a Blue Dragonfly Ranger, a Black Bee Ranger, a female Yellow Mantis Ranger, and a female Purple Butterfly Ranger. Each Ranger will be receiving a Zord that matches their motif, with other Zords as part of the arsenal. Additionally, it was also revealed that villains will also be released as vinyl figures for the first wave, with the characters to be revealed in the first wave catalog.

The link to the new Ohsama Sentai KingOhger page was discovered recently by a fan who shared this link on social media. The link has been set but has yet to be made public due to the official release being yet to debut. TV Asahi is the channel that broadcasts the Super Sentai shows in Japan as part of the Super Hero Time segment that currently includes Kamen Rider Geats. Here is the find shared on Twitter from a Sentai fan regarding the upcoming webpage for Ohsama Sentai KingOhger.
Although inaccessible, the link shows that the team’s official images will soon debut. As official images for Avataro Sentai Donbrothers were released between the 22nd of December to the 23rd, a similar release schedule may be implemented for the 47th Sentai team. The handoff from Donbrothers to KingOhger is set to occur during the finale in 2023, with March as the likely release date for the new Ranger series. It will be interesting to see what the website will display, but social media for the new team is expected to follow, much like 46th Sentai’s @Donbro_toei.
Rumors for Insect Zord names and Combination Formations
As revealed by the toy leaker, there are 10 Zords that make up the Megazord for the 47th Sentai team. The KingOhger Zords belonging to the Rangers have been rumored to have names relating to the Ranger color and type of function it will have based on the insect. The naming convention has only been revealed for the core 5 Zords that belong to the Rangers, which also suggests specific qualities about the type of Zord they are. As we now know the insects for each Ranger, fans could get a rough idea of the type of vehicles the Zords may act like based on these names.

Rumors shared on Rangerboard for the Robo have also been circulating regarding the formation and composition of the Megazord. These include the colors of each Zord, the parts they form, and the rough ratios for occupation percentage. It also reveals that the other 5 Zords that accompany the 5 main Zords will form minor pieces, which is compared to the Ammonite Zords in Ryusoulger and the Fūraimaru/Mini Zord from Hurricaneger. Incredibly, there will be Zords to fill in the gaps to form outstanding parts and it will be interesting to see if they are carried over to future formations. Much like the Ammonites seen in Ryusoulger, it seems the other 5 are for the minor parts that the main 5 can’t form alone. This allows a better build if the Zord is already a complex design, but new configurations with various Zords in the future, such as the Donbrothers Zord being revealed for an alternate head. It will be so exciting to see the images for the new Robo for KingOhger and will confirm whether these rumors are true.
Ohsama Sentai KingOhger will debut after the finale of Avataro Sentai Donbrothers, with both estimated to air in March. The first official images for the new Ranger team are expected to be released next week, with images expected in TV-Kun magazine and the upcoming social media for the 47th Sentai.
