Apple Original Films recently revealed the key art for Martin Scorsese’s eagerly awaited film, Killers of the Flower Moon, and announced a simultaneous global theatrical release in partnership with Paramount Pictures on Friday, October 20. Following its worldwide theatrical run, the film will be available on Apple TV+. The film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Lily Gladstone, had its premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, where it received widespread critical praise and a prolonged standing ovation.
Killers of the Flower Moon
Directed by Scorsese and adapted for the screen by Eric Roth and Scorsese from David Grann’s best-selling book, Killers of the Flower Moon is set in 1920s Oklahoma and chronicles the serial murders of the oil-rich Osage Nation members, a series of heinous crimes known as the Reign of Terror. The cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, Jillian Dion, and Tantoo Cardinal.

Produced by Apple Studios, Killers of the Flower Moon was co-produced with Imperative Entertainment, Sikelia Productions, and Appian Way. Since the launch of Apple TV+ just over three years ago, the momentum around the Apple Original Films slate continues to grow. Apple made history as the first streaming service to win the Academy Award for Best Picture with CODA. The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse also recently won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short. Killers of the Flower Moon will premiere alongside upcoming Apple Original Films including Flora and Son, Napoleon, Argylle, Blitz, and an untitled Formula 1 feature film starring Brad Pitt.
Killer’s of the Flower Moon releases globally in theaters on October 20, 2023, and is set to debut on AppleTV+ afterward.

Synopsis
