MONDO REVEALS SIXTH-SCALE X-MEN FIGURES FOR ROGUE AND GAMBIT
Considering Gambit and Rogue’s longstanding romance in the comics, it makes sense to have figures for them now. Fans and collectors can now grab these figures and pair them on their shelves, just like in the shows and comics.
These sixth-scale figures look impressive and like they jumped out of the animated series. Their designs are based on their 1990s animated series looks, and they’ve been precisely sculpted to mimic their animated appearances. You can check out some more in-depth photos of the new Gambit and Rogue figure releases from Mondo below:
These sixth-scale figures are not only expertly designed to capture their looks from the animated show and fully articulated, but they are also packed with show-accurate accessories. They not only have swappable hands, Gambit comes with his staff and playing cards. he also comes with effects parts to capture his kinetic energy power.
The Limited Edition Rogue also comes with some other impressive accessories. One of them is an alternate head based on her look from another popular X-Men animated series, X-Men: Evolution (See below). Thinking about that, it would be neat if Mondo would consider making similar sixth-scale collectible figures based on Evolution once they are done with the 1990s animated show.
Another one of the swappable heads for the Limited Edition Rogue shows her ability to absorb other mutants’ powers, such as her leader Cyclops. During the series, she absorbed Cyclops’ powers to save his life by giving him CPR. However, in the process, she absorbed his optic blast ability.

Appropriately enough, the original animated series from the 1990s is set to continue with the upcoming revival from Marvel Studios and Disney. X-Men ’97, which continues from where the series left off in 1997, begins its run with a 10-episode season starting in March. The show debuts on Mar. 20 on Disney+.
