The actor is no newcomer to the tabletop industry, having co-founded Beadle & Grimm, one of the world’s preeminent creators of premium boxed editions for tabletop games. And, as part of the brains behind Find Familiar Spirits, he has previously struck gold with the release of Quest’s End: Paladin. Now, Lillard looks to recapture the magic with a stealthier take on tabletop-inspired liquor.
Quest’s End: Rogue Brings Fantasy to Your Liquor Cabinet
Founded by Matthew Lillard and screenwriter Justin Ware and advised by Blue Run Spirits co-founder Tim Sparapani, Find Familiar Spirits is celebrating the upcoming release of Quest’s End: Rogue, its second limited-edition, super-premium whiskey made by and for fantasy and gaming fans.
Quest’s End: Rogue offers rich notes of vanilla alongside bright baked apple/jammy fruit and cooling herbaceous notes to create a balanced aroma and finish, in keeping with the smoothness and blending ability of a Rogue. The whiskey was selected, blended, and proofed by Find Familiar’s Master Blender Alé Ochoa from small batch Kentucky and Indiana bourbons aged for over four years.
Described as a “first-of-its-kind whiskey experience,” Find Familiar Spirits combines Hollywood’s storytelling insight and influence with award-winning whiskey expertise. Every bottle of Quest’s End comes with the latest chapter of Dawn of the Unbound Gods, an evolving fantasy saga created by Dungeons & Dragons game designer Kate Welch, and artwork and bottle designed by Tyler Jacobson (Dungeons & Dragons, Magic the Gathering).
It’s fitting that Rogue is our second whiskey, since we’re a bit of a rogue in the spirits business. We don’t have a big corporate backer, or a huge distribution network. We launched with an appeal directly to fantasy and gaming fans, and we were lucky enough to win them over because we’re genuinely part of this community. We’re offering a product that’s authentic to our love for fantasy and gaming.
