The Transformers Saga has been going strong on the live-action front in theaters. However, the franchise has not had an animated feature on the big screen since 1986. While the string of animated productions across TV and streaming has been doing well for the most part, nothing quite beats the theatrical experience.

Seeing an animated movie in a theater can be a magical experience, provided there are no interruptions and audience members are kind enough to have their phones off.
The Untold History
Transformers One centers around brothers-in-arms Orion Pax and D-16 and their history on Cybertron. Unless you’re a hardcore fan you may not recognize those names, but you will recognize them for the leaders on opposite sides they become – Optimus Prime and Megatron.
The film is supposedly canon to the live-action movies under Paramount. Originally it was intended to be live-action but Hasbro and Paramount opted to make it animated instead to reduce expenses.
Transformers One is not only the first movie to explore how Optimus Prime and Megatron came to be but the first set entirely on Cybertron so don’t expect to see any human characters.
