This feature should be available now for all premium members. This will allow premium members to customize up to five different profiles for a single household. You can get a look at the new multiple profiles feature for your accounts below:

With the new profiles feature, profile users will be able to select their own personalized avatars, choosing from fan-favorite characters from more than 30 different anime series. Additionally, premium members will receive more personalized recommendations, Crunchylist curation, and more, just in time to start enjoying the Spring anime season, which includes such new shows as Kaiju No. 8, plus returning hits such as My Hero Academia, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, and Black Butler.

The streaming service also confirmed that multiple users will be able to stream their favorite shows on Crunchyroll concurrently using their own unique profiles. This looks like a great new feature for the Crunchyroll service, especially considering other major premium streaming platforms allow for multiple profiles for their accounts, including Disney+, Hulu, Max, Peacock, and Netflix. While it may have taken a while for the streamer to add this feature, it now puts them on a similar playing field as other major subscription streamers.

Besides streaming on multiple profiles at once on select devices, users will also be able to create their own unique Crunchy lists for each profile. Users will also be able to enjoy the watch offline feature. It’s almost hard to believe this feature is only being incorporated into the app right now. That said, the streamer has definitely set itself apart as the premiere anime streaming destination at the moment, and this certainly helps.

Overall, it’s great to finally see this feature added to the service. While this doesn’t really soften the blow of Funimation digital copy owners losing all their digital copies in their digital library with the end of the Funimation service earlier this month, it’s at least a step in the right direction. This at least improves the quality of life for premium members of the Crunchyroll service.

The multiple profiles feature is now available to all premium members of the anime streaming service, so it should be active for you now. It should be interesting to see what other features might also get added to the service in the near future.
