Crunchyroll Reveals New and Returning Anime Series Coming Soon

Check out all the new and returning anime coming soon to Crunchyroll!

Get ready anime fans, as Crunchyroll has announced that its streaming platform will be adding two new anime’s and a third season of a popular anime already on the platform. This announcement was made live on May 4, 2024, at CCXP Mexico, the new additions will be added in Crunchyroll’s Autum 2024 line up. 

The new anime series coming to Crunchyroll is as follows: 

Nina the Starry Bride

Synopsis
Nina did not have a good start to life, orphaned and having to steal to survive and now kidnapped due to her Lapis Lazuli eye’s, deep blue eyes just like the God of the stars. However much to Nina’s surprise her captor Prince Azure, ordained that Nina would in fact now live her life as a princess! To be more specific she would now be living as the recently deceased Princess/Priestess Alisha. Who had the same unique deep blue eyes as Nina. When three months have passed Nina will be obligated to marry the first prince, Prince Sett of her neighbouring nation, “Galgada” and be his false bride and the substitute Princess and Priestess of the stars.

Synopsis
Uryu Kamihate has had a difficult start in life, however he plans to forget it all and leave it behind him, by achieving his dream to enrol into medical school. Except when Uryu arrives at his new foster home, a working shrine, he soon learns that his wish of a quiet place to study… just went up in smoke. Will Uryu be able to handle his new surroundings? 

Now he has to cohabitate with his three new female roommates Yae, Yuna and Asahi the Amagami sisters, each one a stunningly beautiful shrine maiden. So here comes the twist… in order for Uryu to stay at the shrine he must in fact marry into the family and inherit the shrine! Meaning one of these beautiful sisters is now going to be his new bride?
