Homelander arrives as part of the Kombat Pack on June 4 during the early access period. He will then be released for wide availability starting June 11. You can check out the newly revealed gameplay trailer featuring Homelander below:

THE BOYS’ HOMELANDER JOINS MORTAL KOMBAT 1 AS A GUEST FIGHTER STARTING JUNE 4

Homelander is the most powerful being on the planet and the leader of The Seven, an elite superhero team owned and managed by Vought International. In a world where Superheroes or “Supes” are synthetically made, he’s the strongest of them all.

While Homelander presents himself as the ultimate patriot and protector publicly, you shouldn’t let his movie star good looks or high approval rating fool you. Deep down, he’s a murderous, narcissistic sociopath, who has an insatiable need for validation, love, and power. In MK1, it appears Homelander’s lust for power does not just end with his own world, now he’s facing challengers from other realms with his vengeful wrath.

The game version of Homelander utilized his super strength, aerial attacks, and capacity to laser enemies with his eyes. The trailer also a first look as a new DLC Kameo Fighter for the game, Ferra. Ferra will be able to offer assistance during matches with a range of support moves. She will also be available as part of the Kombat Pack and for standalone purchases later in June.
