MORTAL KOMBAT 1 Delivers a Fatality With a Brand-New Trailer for Season 4

Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios today released a new trailer showcasing the launch of Mortal Kombat 1 Season 4: The Huntress. This new season of content is themed around the arrival of the classic Kombatant Mileena as the main boss in Invasions Mode.

Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios today released a new trailer showcasing the launch of Mortal Kombat 1 Season 4: The Huntress. This new season of content is themed around the arrival of the classic Kombatant Mileena as the main boss in Invasions Mode.

Season 4 of the game also features new challenges, story elements, boss battles, over 150 rewards, character skins earnable through Invasions, and the Kombatant League. You can check out the newly revealed trailer for Season 4 below:

MORTAL KOMBAT KICKS OFF SEASON 4: THE HUNTRESS

Also new to the game for Season 4 is Peacemaker, who joins the roster as a new Kombatant. Featuring the voice and likeness of John Cena from The Suicide Squad movie and Peacemaker TV series, Peacemaker is now available as of today as a DLC character. He’s also available via the early access period for Kombat Pack owners. He will be available for wide release availability on March 6.

Also coming in March is the new Kameo fighter, Janet Cage (a gender-flipped Johnny Cage), who will be available in March. A gameplay breakdown of Peacemaker, Janet Cage, and upcoming seasonal content will be broken down on this week’s Kombat Kast, which can also be viewed below:

New skins for Season 4 include Monster at Heart Mileena, Blazing Hunter Liu Kang, High and Low Hunter Smoke, and First Sight Kenshi. All the new skins are earnable through Invasions and the Kombat League.

The kickoff of the new season also marks new Krossplay functionality for the game that’s available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). The newly added Krossplay feature allows players to matchmaker in Ranked Kombat League and Kasual Versus matches, invite friends for Private Versus matches, and view leaderboard stats across all the aforementioned supported platforms. Lastly, players can join the Free Trial Weekend for the game on March 7-10 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PC via Steam. This limited-time Free Trial includes access to the base roster of main characters and Kameo Fighters, all online and local multiplayer modes, the Towers, the Story Mode for the first show chapters, and Johnny Cage’s Mansion for Invasions mode.
