The new and popular anime series, Unnamed Memory, has been confirmed for a second season, which is slated to launch later in January 2025. A new teaser visual, trailer, and part two debut announcement were also revealed for the series.

Part two of the series will be debuting on Jan. 25, 2025, and a new teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel has been revealed to its fandom alongside a new visual for Season 2, referred to as Act 2. The new visual for Act 2 was posted on the anime series’ official social media page on X, which you can also view below:
UNNAMED MEMORY CONTINUES WITH ACT 2 EARLY NEXT YEAR
Unnamed Memory Act 1 wrapped up with its final episode, Episode 12, “Two Joined Memories” which aired on Jun 25, 2024, the anime first aired on Apr. 9, 2024, with its first episode, “Cursed Words and the Azure Tower.” The anime series is centered on its two main characters Tinasha the “Blue Moon Witch” who becomes the guardian of our second main character Oscar, who has been cursed by a witch… seeking the “Blue Moon Witch” to help in breaking his curse. The anime scoring 4.4/5 stars on Crunchyroll was directed by director Kazuya Miura, who has worked on popular anime titles over the years of his career. Some of his previous work includes; Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma, And You Thought There Is Never a Girl Online, Love and Lies, Uzaki-Chan Wants to Hang Out! And many more. Unnamed Memory is a Fantasy anime, but with the storyline, you can definitely include it in your romance genre list. With Kazuya Miura’s experience with romance anime titles, from his previous work, you can see why it was easy to bring out the chemistry with the characters within this slow-burn romance and fantasy. Leaving us fans in suspense watching the romance slowly blossom between the two.
Production for Unnamed Memory Act 1 was handled by ENGI, who will also be producing the second Act of the series. The anime series is an adaption from the Unnamed Memory manga series written by author Kuji Furumiya. Unnamed Memory started as a web novel back in Sep 2012, published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro novel website, the story was later acquired by ASCII Media Works.
ASCII Media Works published the story with illustrations by artist Chibi under its Dengeki no Shin Bungei imprint. Unnamed Memory has so far published 6 tankobon volumes and is still currently ongoing.
