McFarlane Toys announced an exciting new license today that will see the leader in the collectibles category create a new line of products based on the record-breaking BOOM! Studios comic franchise, BRZRKR. In a new deal brokered by IMG, McFarlane Toys will bring the comic franchise to life with new collectibles.

The comic series was co-created by actor Keanu Reeves (The Matrix, John Wick), and it’s co-authored by Reeves and Matt Kindt, with artwork by industry veteran Ron Garney. The upcoming licensing agreement will see McFarlane Toys create a line of 7″-scale physical and digital figures that will capture the essence of BRZRKR’s infamous characters and dynamic world.

The upcoming figures will feature ultra-articulation for a full range of dynamically posable characters for endless possibilities for immersive play and display. The product launch for the collectibles is slated for December 2024. The products will be available online and at select retailers worldwide. All the digital products for the collectible line will be available at McFarlane Toys Digital. This will offer fans seamless integration of physical and virtual collections.
Speaking on today’s announcement, McFarlane Toys founder and CEO Todd McFarlane stated, “Having been in the Comic Book industry myself, for nearly 40 years, I’m constantly looking for new characters that seem to be gripping the readership within the comic genre. A few years back a new title called BRZRKR burst out in a huge way, adding yet another high-level character to the pantheon of ‘must-read’ stories.”
McFarlane continued, “Publisher BOOM! Studios alongside Keanu Reeves have unleashed a force of nature with their new character, and I am sure comic fans of this book will be just as pumped to get their hands on action figures of this title, as they are the comic.”
BOOM! Fans will be able to start buying the new collectibles later this year. BRZRKR will also be among BOOM! Studios’ featured panels at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Reeves will be live on hand for the “BRZRKR: The Immortal Saga Unleashed” panel slated for Saturday, July 27 at the legendary Hall H starting at 12:30 pm PST. They will discuss the comic series, the planned upcoming Netflix live-action film, and more.
