SILO: Apple TV+ Announces November Return for Season 2

During the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday (July 27), Apple TV_ confirmed that the hit drama series, Silo, will return for its second season starting Friday, November 15.

During the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday (July 27), Apple TV+ confirmed that the hit drama series, Silo, will return for its second season starting Friday, November 15. Apple TV also confirmed that White Lotus star and Primetime Emmy Award nominated-actor, Steve Zahn, will join the cast for Season 2.

Apple TV+ announced the news during the show’s special fan panel, featuring the show’s stars and executive producer Rebecca Ferguson, star Common, creator and showrunner Graham Yost, and executive producer Hugh Howey. The panel also featured a special appearance by Zahn.

SILO SEASON 2 RETURNS IN NOVEMBER, STEVE ZAHN JOINING THE CAST

Season 2 of the sci-fi drama will consist of 10 episodes. The season will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first episode followed by one new episode every Friday through January 17, 2025. The series is based on Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy Wool.

The series follows the story of the last 10,000 people on Earth, who live in a home built one mile beneath the surface protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built, and those who try to find out face fatal consequences.

Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer looking for answers about a loved one’s murder. She soon stumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined. It soon leads her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.

Season 2 also stars Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McCrae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie, and Iain Glen. It’s produced for Apple TV+ by Apple Studios. The series is executive produced by Yost, Michael Dinner, Nina Jack, Joanna Thapa, Ferguson, Morten Tyldum, Howey, Fred Golan, Rémi Aubuchon, and AMC Studios.
