Bron Breakker Reveals His Dream WrestleMania Match Is To Retire This Absolute Legend

WWE Bron Breakker

Bron Breakker wants to be the last match for this future WWE Hall of Famer and send them into retirement. Breakker is the spearhead of the new generation of Superstars rising in WWE. He is by far the most promising of the young group of wrestlers.

Bron Breakker has looked very good since he debuted in NXT in late 2021. He has continued to improve and show the world he is someone to pay attention to. Since getting called up to the main roster earlier this year he has had some great matches against some great Superstars.

Bron Breakker has shown that he can handle the pressure of the main roster and hold his own against big names. However, he isn’t satisfied with facing big names. During a recent interview with Daily Star, he was asked for his dream match for next year’s WrestleMania. He revealed that his dream match would be to retire John Cena.

“I think the only fitting match that comes to mind for me is to retire John Cena, because I mean he’s going on a farewell tour from what I know. I don’t know how long he’s going to be around and stuff, or what his schedule is, but if he wants to come back and have the best possible match with the most elite talent that there is to work with. That he hasn’t worked with yet that’s me. There is no one else.

So if he wants to get in there and mix it up with the best of the best of the next generation, that’s going to be next five, 10 years  going to step up and be leaders for this locker room, it’s me.”

John Cena announced last month at Money in the Bank that in 2025 he will go on a retirement tour. He will have his last match with old rivals and his last match at premium live events. The details are not known at all and we don’t know if WWE or Cena is even planning out who he will be facing yet.

Cena is the biggest name of his generation. His name transcends wrestling and even non-fans are well aware of who he is. He has accomplished everything a wrestler could hope to accomplish. He is a 16-time world champion which is tied with Ric Flair for the most championship reigns.

Breakker is on his way up in the company and he is racing to the top very quickly. He is a former two-time NXT champion and a former NXT Tag Team champion. Over the weekend at SummrSlam he won his first main roster gold, the Intercontinental Championship. He defeated Sami Zayn for the championship and did it in a very dominant fashion. He showed the world that he is ready and capable of having a world championship reign.

The Future Is Bron Breakker

Breakker will be the person taking WWE into the future. Having a match where a veteran passes the torch to the next generation is what everyone dreams of. A Cena vs. Breakker would be that exactly. Cena passing the torch to the next generation shows the world that Breakker is ready and Cena approves.

To beat Cena at WrestleMania would make the moment even more incredible. There is no better place to do it than at the biggest show of the year. However, Cena has a lot of history with people in WWE so a WrestleMania match may be with one of those people. Perhaps a Randy Orton vs. Cena.

All this stuff is very far out as Cena’s farewell tour won’t even begin until 2025. It will be an exciting and sad year for wrestling fans as we see Cena’s last time doing things.

What do you think of Bron Breakker’s dream match of facing John Cena? Do you think it should happen at WrestleMania? If not Breakker, then who should be Cena’s WrestleMania match? Who should be his last match? Do you think Breakker is the face of the next generation in WWE? If not him then who is? Let us know on social media if you think Breakker is ready for a world championship.
