Boom! Studios reveals Power Rangers Prime as the upcoming comic series starting this Fall. Melissa Flores has been revealed to be continuing as the Writer for an all-new release for the Power Rangers comics. The new series features new Rangers, new villains, and a new story that takes place beyond the normal timeline. First previews have been unleashed revealing a reinvented Mighty Morphin Red and Lauren Shiba headlining as the Red Samurai Ranger.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers concluded its run when Darkest Hour ended in July 2024. The 8 yearlong comic series from Boom! Studios featured a collection of amazing writer and artist talents, including Melissa Flores writing the 12-month anniversary arc for the 30-year celebration.

Melissa Flores is the perfect candidate to bring a whole new world to Power Rangers fans. A new comic series was expected to follow Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, but this re-envision of the entire universe goes beyond what fans were curious to uncover. The updated Red Ranger was a great teaser but it’s incredible to see that the female Red Samurai Ranger has such a key role in the new story. It will be exciting to uncover the reason why she is fighting the Eltarians, along with many new surprises the team have in store for the all-new series.
Melissa Flores also features as Power Morphicon 2024 with a panel on Saturday. This panel will also include Ryan Parrott and Kyle Higgins for their work on the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic series and the Massive Verse comics. It will be wonderful if attendees will be able to see the first preview of the new Prime series, but there is currently no confirmation regarding possible reveals.
PRIME #1 will be available in comic shops on November 13, 2024. It is available for pre-order at your local comic shop. Digital copies can be purchased from content providers, including Kindle, iBooks, and Google Play.

Prime series Writer, Melissa Flores, will feature at Power Morphin Con 2024, with a panel titled “Boom and the Massive Verse”. The panel for the 2024 event will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, and will start at 2 pm PST in Panel Room A (Ballroom B/C).
