For the first time in roughly 27 years of the RE Franchise, Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Clair Redfield, Chris Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers are together on our screens. Seeing these titans of the franchise team up is the superhero team-up moment fans have waited nearly three decades for. While it is undeniably momentous for us, it is equally grand for the actors behind the voices. Check out what they had to say about the iconic event.

Stephanie Panisello: It’s amazing.

Matthew Mercer: Momentous.

Stephanie Panisello: Yeah. Honestly, look, speechless.

Matthew Mercer: Literally, we’re stumbling.

Stephanie Panisello: It’s been so fun and honestly been fantastic to be able to have everyone together for the very first time. I feel like it’s something we’ve always wanted, right? And it’s something we hadn’t gotten just yet. And so to be able to see that and see how they interact and see who they tend to connect with within themselves and to see how they fight together and see how they respect one another and see how they pick on each other here or there like that is really beautiful to see. So for me, it’s been super exciting. It’s been something that I’ve always wanted.

Matthew Mercer: It’s an odd culmination of community in the sense that each one of them has suffered through their individual stories after all this time. And some of them have connected and found some kinship and like shared trauma on being like, we both survived some of the most ridiculous bullshit and now we know each other. And this is the moment where they all come together and like, oh, we’re legion.

Nicole Tompkins: We’re good at this. I mean, the fans have just waited, I think, so long to see it. We’ve waited so long to see it. And I think this film does a really wonderful job of bringing it together in a way where everyone still has a purpose, because I think sometimes it can be challenging to like bring all your favorites together. And so doing that in a way where like, yeah, great. We all know why they’re here and they all have really exciting and fun moments.
