HBO is ramping up the marketing campaign for House of the Dragon Season 2. After revealing on Wednesday a new wave of character posters and teasing the show’s June release date, they have finally revealed the new trailer today. Well, there actually two trailers!
HBO also announced that the second season will start airing on HBO on June 16. You can check out the newly revealed trailers right here:

HOUSE OF THE DRAGON SEASON 2 DEBUTS IN MAY
The new season will pay off the cliffhanger ending of the previous one, which definitively set Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) and Alicent Hightower at war against each other, and it’s now more personal than ever before. The marketing campaign is clearly taking advantage of that too!
We know the second season will be a bit shorter, with only eight episodes, but plans for the third season are already underway. Some of the storylines that were originally planned for Season 2 were bumped into Season 3.

The network expected to give the third installment an early green light, so filming could actually begin this year if showrunner Ryan Condal and his team have been able to get the scripts in order while in most of Season 2.
