With forces closing in, Venom and Eddie will have to make a devastating decision that will bring curtains to the duo. You can check out the newly revealed trailer for the film right here:

VENOM: THE LAST DANCE TRAILER SHOWS THE SYMBIOTES INVADING PLANET EARTH

In the new trailer, Marvel’s greatest and most complex duo is back for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie Brock and Venom are on the run from the government. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, they are now forced into a devastating decision that will bring curtains on the unlikely friends. This is the time for Eddie and his wayward symbiote to face their last dance.

Chiwetel Ejiofor joins the cast for the upcoming threequel. He looks to be a type of military soldier who is hunting down Eddie Brock and the symbiote. Other cast members for the sequel joining Hardy and Ejior include Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.

There is quite a lot going on here, and it looks like Venom might have to make a huge sacrifice to potentially protect Eddie Brock and planet Earth, which is a planet he grew to appreciate over time. While the government is hunting them down, it looks like the unlikely heroes are the only ones who can protect the planet from the Symbiote invasion.

It also appears that Stephen Graham is back as Detective Patrick Mulligan. In the last movie, it looks like Mulligan might’ve gained his own symbiote. In the comics, Mulligan bonds with the Toxin symbiote. So while we don’t actually see Toxin here, it looks like that will be the case with the brief appearances of Graham as Mulligan here. It also appears that the other symbiotes are hunting down Venom as well. For what purpose is not exactly here.

The upcoming film is directed by Kelly Marcel from a screenplay she wrote, based on a story by Hardy and Marcel. The film is produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy, and Hutch Parker.

While the Venom films aren’t particularly beloved by critics, they have been quite successful at the box office. The first movie only scored a 30% rating with critics, while the second movie only earned about 57%. However, the sequel, Let There Be Carnage, did well during the pandemic, earning $213 million domestically and $506 million worldwide.

The 2018 movie made about the same domestically and also earned about $856 million worldwide, making it a huge hit for Sony Pictures. So Sony will clearly be looking to end the trilogy with a high note, as it looks to be the final installment of the franchise. It should be interesting to see how the upcoming sequel pans out. The Last Dance will be hitting theaters on October 25.
