SAM WILSON WIELDS THE SHIELD ONCE AGAIN IN CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD

Mackie’s Sam Wilson previously took up the shield and mantle of Captain America in the finale of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, which aired on Disney+ in 2021. In the new sequel, after meeting the newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford), Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident.

Now, Sam must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red. It looks like Sam Wilson will have his work cut out for him in order to save the world from this new global threat.

Speaking of seeing red, the trailer offers the first glimpse of the Red Hulk, an alter-ego for Thunderbolt Ross in the comics. So, it looks like the film will mark the MCU debut of the Red Hulk. The new teaser poster also features a glimpse of Red Hulk’s MCU debut:

It’s believed that Nelson will finally become his Marvel Comics alter-ego, The Leader, int he sequel.

Lumbly reprises his role as Isaiah Bradley from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Danny Ramirez also returns from the series as Joaquín Torres, and it looks like he will now be taking on Sam Wilson’s old mantle of The Falcon.
