Even though the sixth film in the Jurassic Park franchise was delayed to 2022 due to COVID-19, Jurassic World: Dominion’s marketing campaign is starting nice and early.
A short video teasing an upcoming “extended look” at the film has been released on YouTube. It features shots of various dinosaurs, presumably out in “the wild” after becoming free to roam the Earth at the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but does include a brief moment in which two of them go quite literally head to head.
Jurassic World: Dominion Extended Look Teaser Trailer
The full preview trailer itself won’t be coming to YouTube, though, at least not right away. It’s set to be exclusively attached to IMAX screenings of F9, set for release in North America later this week.
Since this preview is only for IMAX screens (and F9 isn’t getting a simultaneous streaming release like many other major blockbusters of the current moment) those in areas where cinemas remain closed will be out of luck on seeing the sneak peek of the third Jurassic World movie for now. It is unknown whether the preview will also play on IMAX showings of F9 overseas, where the film has already been open for weeks.
Jurassic World: Dominion is set for release on June 10, 2022. What do you think of the short teaser video? Let us know in the comment section below or over on our social media!
