Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Aquadonk Side Pieces Episode 1 – The Return of Handbanana

Seeing that house with the unique style of animation and weird collective of characters brings back memories of times I probably should have been studying but instead, chose to get high and watch cartoons. While I did enjoy the episode, I have to admit the lack of not being elevated prevents me from enjoying this episode of Aquadonk Side Pieces to the fullest. I also don’t remember Handbanana and Spaghetti freaked me out. Has Carl been shacked up with Handbanana since the last episode of the series aired? Maybe it was just a quarantine thing? The possibilities are endless and kind of disturbing.

Aquadonk Side Pieces is a 10-episode series of one-shot shorts featuring classic Aqua Teen Hunger Force characters like Frylock, Carl, Master Shake, and Meatwad. Each episode will have them facing a fan-favorite antagonist like Handbanana, The Mooninites, The Plutonians, The Frat Aliens, The Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past, Happy Time Harry, and MC Pee Pants. Personally, I can’t wait to see the ATHF encounter the Mooninites. I don’t exactly remember what happened, but remember giggling like Beavis and Butthead during that episode. It’s going to be a wild 10-Days.

After Alabama Jackson, Aquadonk Side Pieces is Adult Swim’s second short series to debut on their YouTube Channel. This is said to be the second of four digital short series. The third series should air soon after the rest of these 9 episodes premiere. This animated digital series and Aqua Teen Hunger Force were created by Matt Maeillaro and Dave Willis. New episodes and misadventures will premiere at 12:00 pm ET/9:00 am PT for the next 9 days on the Adult Swim YouTube Channel.

Professional Nerd | Amateur Human | Creative/Content Director The best way to describe Kevin Fenix is the kid you never tell what the buttons do in video games so you have a chance to win. Being 6’ 4” and Asian, he never really fit in, so he got comfortable standing out. Not only is it easy to find him in crowds, he dabbles in the culinary arts, does a little stand up and improv, and can honestly say Spider-Man is the Jesus-like influence of his life. Kevin Fenix loves dogs, movies, television, comics, comedy, and to shoot people… with video.
