The longtime anime entertainment brand, Funimation, is officially coming to an end. Due to parent company Sony Pictures Entertainment’s past acquisition of Crunchyroll and a unification of fan services that was first announced in March 2022, the Funimation app and website will officially come to an end on April 2, 2024. That means the Funimation brand as we know it will be officially over.
Funimation’s massive library of anime content will be making its way to Crunchyroll. Â
The long-awaited English dubbing of Attack On Titan Final Season Part 2 will be premiering next weekend.
