Last night was the premiere of Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) staring Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rosie Perez, and Jussie Smollett-Bell.
This movie has grabbed the attention of many reviewers and sparked plenty of differing opinions among Twitter users. The movie seems to be on track to take over the box office for the next couple of weekends and, based on the overall impression of it as opposed to its predecessor Suicide Squad, it’s winning over hearts and minds as well.

Hopefully Birds of Prey will help erase the bad taste that a few other DCEU entries have left in movie viewers. mouth. In the meantime, we have included some of the good and bad word of mouth that the world of Twitter has to say about it:

Ok, #BirdsOfPrey watched. What a ride! The whole cast are amazing, but #BlackCanary owns my heart. @jurneesmollett you are a goddess.

Interestingly enough, comic book writer Gail Simone had her own extensive thread on the film:
Okay, I want to have a talk about one aspect of the @birdsofpreywb movie that I was withholding judgment on, that did bug me. I think itโs pretty obvious I loved it, but I do have a sizable gripe.

However, that is only meaningful in a larger context.
So mute this, maybe. ๐
