The Planet of The Apes trilogy ended with a bang with 2017’s War for The Planet of the Apes, and while media outlets will have you assume that a new reboot is coming under Disney, this could not be further from the truth.

This Planet of the Apes Stays in Place
Wes Ball, director of the upcoming chapter in Caesar’s legacy, had this to say on twitter:

Fact checking is not something many media outlets do today; especially when clickbait and outrage is the name of the game. As for the little we do know about the next film, Wes Ball is known for directing the Maze Runner trilogy, so your expectations for the next Apes installment may have some correlation to your appreciation or lack thereof for those films.
