No one wants a Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers cast reunion more than one of the Mighty Morphins’ themselves, it seems.
Is it time to combine again? That’s what fans are wondering. David Yost, who played the original Blue Ranger Billy Cranston, spoke to Zia Comics recently, and among the various topics of conversation, the rumor of a reunion was brought up.

For many years, fans have wanted to see the original team come back together. Yost seems to agree, and his idea for the series doesn’t sound bad.
“(Laughs), I mean it’s definitely a rumor, and it’s probably a rumor on my end, but you know I just think it would be great because we’re creeping up on our 30-year anniversary of the original cast and for years we’ve been asked to do a reunion and nothing’s happened,” Yost said. “They didn’t take advantage of it at the 25-year reunion, which I don’t know why they didn’t, but, it would be nice to film kind of a limited series.”
In his comments, he discussed the format and the episode count he would recommend. He spoke about the series being aired on Netflix for about 7 to 8 episodes. He also described the plot of each character involved, the audience learning what the character is up to, and the team coming together at the beginning or at the end.
Should this idea come to pass? Would all of the original cast mates come together ? With Jason David Frank appearing in Power Rangers Ninja Steel episode “Dimensions in Danger”, and Austin St. John set to appear in Beast Morphers second season, it appears the past is slowly beginning to become the future of Power Rangers.
